Our home is the only one I know of (with occupants with a median age under 60) that does not have a microwave.
And no desire whatsoever to get one.
A Kitchen-Aide mix-master? Yes. A micro-wave? No.

Am lucky to have family & friends in far-flung corners of the globe but, where ever I am, I'm missing someone terribly. Prone to procrastination and to wearing pajamas and animal ears - I often find myself outside my comfort zone...life seems to be a continually- vertical learning curve...

Just wanted to point out here - That I have the DESIRE for a kitchen-aide mix master. I don't (yet!) have one...
No microwave here either.. and never had and never needed. And we have a kitchen aid that my Mother Outlaw eyes with extreme caution everytime she enters (tiptoes) into my kitchen. "Red is a most unsuitable colour in both shoes and mix masters" she was heard to say. Hahahaha
I tend not to mention her too often on my blog, because my SIL reads it sometimes.. and she is a serious dobber!
